On the morning of September 30 the floating dock was towed away from Redang Island's Pasir Panjang. There could be no clearer indication that the tourist season was ending. The Northeast Monsoon will bring much rain, strong winds and rough seas onto this beach. Many of the resorts will close for at least two months.
